Make a Halloween House Pop Up Book. Make some pop up cards for Halloween, then after Halloween compile them into a book to store them - or just make the pop up book for fun!
Print out some fun stickers to funky up and brighten the book.
Cut out two pieces of cardboard slightly bigger than the closed card for the covers and a strip the same length for the spine of the book.
Lay down a piece of packing tape sticky side up and lay the covers and spine down the middle of it to join the pieces together. Leave a small space between the pieces, so the book will close. Trim the tape along book top and bottom edges.
Decorate the covers with paint.
Make the Book Proper
Arrange the cards into the order you want them, making sure they face one way ie all pop ups open the correct way when you flick through the book.
Glue the cards together as shown in the diagram.
Stay clear of the folded edges of the cards to allow flexibility when using the finished book.
The book proper is finished.
Glue the book proper to the covers as shown in the diagram.
Basic book is finished.
Print out the book stickers. Cut and paste images to book pages.
