1940s Crochet Snood

I made a snood for a dear friend and had to make more for other friends who got jealous.

Vintage is very 'in' right now and what better way to dress up your retro dresses than a snood.

The pattern calls for a long treble crochet (long tr) stitch. You can see how to work it

When l first saw the pattern I thought of tv star Lucille Ball.


An elegant headpiece that will go with most styles. My minds eye sees a dark trouser suit with heels.
