Creativity is magical. Its an important part of my life - it began young and continues as an essential practice and form of expression.
I am excited to hear that in north-west Sydney, Australia, Annie Krempin, a childcare educator and Marika Donkin, a paediatric neuropsychologist have got together to help children (ages 6 - 10 years) develop important life skills through fun and creative play based workshops.
These unique 50 minute sessions are aimed at coping with life's ups and downs, communication skills, self reliance, bouncing back, self love and care and include relaxation and meditation techniques.
Annie Krempin says "Our aim is to enhance the way children deal with various emotions and situations to be happy throughout their lives and to hopefully decrease the chance of them suffering from any form of mental illness in the future...we feel that many families will benefit"
