MS Paint (13)

This is the last of a series of nine easy to follow lessons where you can learn to draw in MS Paint. We will make a Pear this time.

Read through the tutorial first.

If you do not understand how to do any steps in this tutorial, go back to previous lessons. The previous lessons are more detailed.

Open MS Paint. Go to Start/All Programs/Accessories/Paint.

Size your canvas. Go to Image/Attributes
A nice size to work with is 8 inches by 7 inches.
See how to do this - Paint Tips for Tutorials

Make an Ellipse for the apple.

Select the Rounded Rectangle tool, change the color and make a stem.

Choose the Brush and make a squiggly line for the stem base.

Change the Foreground color to white and erase (paint out) a small part at the lower edge of the apple, so it can stand. It is less like a cherry and more like an apple now.

Refer to the previous lesson, Make a Pear, for the instructions on how to make a leaf and move it into position.

Select your apple. Time to make more!

Press Ctrl while you click and drag away to make copies.

Change colors and add a highlight with the Airbrush.

Well done!

Save your work. Go to File/Save As, give your work a name and save as a BMP, JPG or TIFF file so you can use them later.
Very good job!

Well done! You have finished all the lessons. Congratulations!

Have fun! :)
