Have a go at comic book journaling. It is a heap of fun and quick to do. You end up with a beautiful page to paste into your book.

I thought I'd show you an idea on how to use the blank journal pages I've been making.

I just did these digitally as an example of simple effects you can achieve.

Method
Lay down blobs of watercolour - they don't have to be realistic or tidy.
Have a few goes at this - say two or three layers, waiting for each layer to dry before applying the next.
Grab your pen and make up a story, filling in the speech bubbles.
Paste into your book :)

Other

Such a heap of fun! It is quite interesting to relate the images or adapt a story to your own life experience. It's just another way to reflect and did I tell you how how much fun it was?

Get some free printable pages to practice on and have a go at here.
